Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Electrical Field Project Engineer to support the management of large utility-scale solar projects across multiple states. You will work with the Electrical Assistant and Electrical Project Manager on contract administration, submittals, procurement, scheduling, and change orders.

The role requires a proactive professional with strong communication skills, basic finance understanding, and familiarity with construction project management tools.

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year solar internship or full-time experience as a project engineer or assistant project engineer, or electrical foreman in the construction industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; interact with owners' representatives, the A/E team, and other stakeholders
• Familiarity with construction project management applications; basic finance skills are helpful

Responsibilities

• Support electrical field project management including procurement, submittals, change orders, and scheduling
• Coordinate start-up, mobilization, and subcontractor/vend or selection processes
• Ensure safety procedures, quality control, and accurate documentation through field activities
• Assist with project status reporting, cost tracking, and coordination with project team
