Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Electrical Assistant Superintendent to coordinate, plan, and support field crews on large utility solar projects across multiple states. You will work with Superintendents and engineers to ensure electrical installations meet drawings, specifications, and schedules.

The role requires 2+ years of MV experience, MV cable installations, and travel with rotations. A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required; SCADA and Megger testing knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working with medium voltage equipment and cable.
• Proficiency in installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of medium voltage cables.
• Knowledgeable about MV testing methods: Megger, TTR, Doble, etc.
• Working knowledge of electrical drawings, underground duct banks, manholes and vaults for distribution and collection systems.
• Current driver''s license.
• 100% travel required with rotations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise electrical installations on wide-scale solar projects.
• Assist in development of project schedules and look-ahead planning.
• Ensure resources and support for work teams; maintain safety and quality standards.
• Oversee subcontractors’ electrical resources, methods, staffing, and coordination with site activities.
• Transmit plans, submittals, and RFIs to subcontractors accurately and timely.
• Monitor safety, quality, and efficiency of subcontracted work on every project.
• Provide leadership, training, and performance evaluations to field personnel.
