Job summary

Moss seeks a Solar Electrical Assistant Superintendent to coordinate and support large utility solar projects across multiple states. You will work with superintendents, contractors, and craft teams to ensure high-quality electrical installations and adherence to drawings and specifications.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, at least 2 years of medium voltage experience, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years' experience with medium voltage equipment and cable installation.
  • Experience supporting large self-perform projects and reviewing electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of testing methods (Megger, Hi-pot, Doble) and distribution systems.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality installation of electrical portions of the project, including underground collections.
  • Support schedules, look-ahead planning, and coordination with engineering and field teams.
  • Oversee resource needs, quality control, and safety on site.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, conduct meetings, and relay RFIs and submittals.
  • Supervise installation, splicing, and termination of fiber optic cabling as needed.
  • Monitor subcontractor procurement and ensure plans align with drawings.
  • Evaluate performance and provide training for field personnel.
