Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Electrical Assistant Superintendent to coordinate and support large utility solar projects across multiple states. You will work with superintendents, contractors, and craft workers to ensure electrical work aligns with plans and specifications.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering, at least 2 years in medium voltage work, and a willingness to travel extensively. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential for this exempt, salaried position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with medium voltage equipment and cable installation.
• Experience supporting large self-perform projects.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings, distribution systems, and SCADA in power utility.
• Current driver's license and willingness to travel 100% with rotations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality installation of electrical portions of the project, including underground collections.
• Support drawing reviews, constructability, and submittals with the engineering team.
• Develop project schedules, keep look-ahead plans, and coordinate with field teams.
• Supervise installation, splicing, and termination of fiber optic cables when needed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, procurement, and site activities to meet drawings and specs.
