Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Electrical Assistant Superintendent to coordinate and support large utility solar projects across multiple states. You will assist the Electrical Superintendent and GC, oversee underground collections, reviews, and ensure adherence to contract documents while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with medium voltage equipment and cabling.
• Experience supporting large self-perform projects in the field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support Superintendents, contractors, and craft activities on large utility solar projects.
• Develop project schedules and three-week look-ahead with the Electrical Superintendent.
• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency of subcontracted work.
• Oversee installation, splicing, and termination of fiber optic cables when applicable.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to ensure drawings, submittals, and RFIs are transmitted timely.
• Mentor field personnel and participate in hiring decisions as needed.
