Job summary

Qualifications

• 4001-6000 hours (2-3 years) experience working as an electrician and basic NEC knowledge.
• Must have all necessary licenses for the jurisdiction.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR) in compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist a journeyman electrician and follow instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to assist in wiring tasks, including measuring, cutting, bending, drilling.
• Perform minor repairs (fuses, sockets, bulbs, switches).
• Maintain tools and supplies; disassemble, repair and reassemble defective electrical equipment.
• Assist in planning/layout of wiring and equipment; learn to read plans and specs.
