Job summary

Cinterra is seeking an Electrical Apprentice III in Blue Ridge, VA to support site operations on utility-scale solar projects and to participate in our four-year registered apprenticeship program, which blends classroom learning with hands-on training under supervision.

The apprentice will assist with installations, troubleshooting, and calibrations while learning safety protocols and project management. Travel and long hours may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Some experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications (preferred).
• Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisors in completing electrical installations on solar projects.
• Troubleshoot issues on-site and facilitate required repairs.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to support installation work.
• Provide site logistics support and protect project material and equipment.
• Maintain safety as a core value and follow safety protocols on site.
