Job summary

Clēnera, LLC is seeking a Development Manager in Boise, ID to oversee day-to-day project execution, including permitting and stakeholder management, across utility-scale solar assets. You will coordinate a multidisciplinary team and drive timelines and deliverables throughout development.

You will perform technical, economic, and risk analyses, engage with zoning boards and regulatory agencies, and manage relationships with landowners and authorities. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, business, finance, economics or related field.
• 3+ years in renewables, environmental, permitting, real estate development, or related industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company software programs.
• Ability to lead early-stage development projects and interpret complex contracts.
• Functional knowledge of power markets and interconnection processes.
• Basic contract negotiation and influencing skills.
• Travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop utility-scale solar assets and coordinate internal/external teams during development.
• Provide technical, economic and risk analysis of solar development assets.
• Interact with zoning and permitting boards, taxing jurisdictions, and permitting agencies.
• Manage relationships with landowners, permitting agencies, and regulators.
• Provide development feedback to respond to RFPs.
• Extract and manage mitigation measures from permitting documents.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across departments.
• Maintain project timelines and deliverables.
