RES is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support senior technicians in operating and maintaining utility-scale solar facilities in Texas. The role covers preventative and corrective maintenance of panels, trackers, and inverters, with hands-on use of tools and CMMS for asset management.

You will troubleshoot AC/DC power systems, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with owners, manufacturers, and subcontractors. Occasional travel and on-call duties are required.

Formación

• High school or GED required with basic maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with electrical power systems and hand tools.
• Familiarity with CMMS and drawings is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist senior Field Service Technicians with operating and maintaining utility scale solar facilities.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on on-site assets like panels, trackers, and inverters.
• Troubleshoot AC and DC power systems under supervision.
• Use hand tools and CMMS to log work and manage inventory.
• Interface with project stakeholders and subcontractors as needed.
• Follow safety plans and rotate on-call schedule for emergencies.
