Job summary

RES is seeking a Field Service Technician II – Solar BESS for travel. You will assist senior technicians in operating and maintaining utility-scale solar facilities, including panels, trackers and inverters. You will troubleshoot DC/AC power systems and perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.

You will use CMMS to manage tasks, inventory spare parts, and adhere to safety policies, LO/TO, and site procedures while representing RES with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of related maintenance experience required.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot certification preferred.
• Knowledge of high/medium voltage electrical power systems and SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior field service technicians with maintenance of solar facilities.
• Troubleshoot low voltage DC and AC power systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on AC and DC power systems.
• Use CMMS to track work orders and inventory of parts.
• Interface with project stakeholders and subcontractors professionally.
• Operate RES company vehicles in compliance with laws and policies.
