Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a PV Solar Field Technician II (Intermediate) to support the operation and maintenance of PV solar and battery storage systems in Perryton, TX. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable energy delivery.

Join the ROI team, coordinate with construction during installations, generate reports, and uphold safety standards. Requires High School diploma, 1+ year experience, and a valid non-CDL driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• 1+ years experience
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of battery energy storage systems to identify and address maintenance or performance issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including cleaning panels and replacing faulty components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures using technical knowledge and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with operations to implement maintenance plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with construction during installation and commissioning of new projects.
• Generate reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all work activities.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in solar technology and maintenance techniques.
