NextEra Energy is seeking a PV Solar Field Technician II (Intermediate) to support Battery Energy Storage Systems at Randolph, NE. The technician will perform inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting to ensure reliable performance of BESS assets.

Collaboration with operations and construction teams will be essential for ongoing projects, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in field maintenance or related work.
• Valid driver's license (non-CDL).

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine inspections of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to identify maintenance or performance issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including cleaning panels, replacing faulty components, and testing system performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures using technical knowledge and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with operations to implement maintenance plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with construction during installation and commissioning of new projects.
• Generate reports and maintain records of inspections and equipment conditions.
