Job summary

Morgan Corp. is seeking a qualified Soil Stabilization Mixer Operator to join our operations team in Florence, SC. The incumbent will operate stabilization mixers (Wirtgen 240i/250i or CAT RM400/RM500) to support road and site stabilization projects in varying weather conditions.

The role requires prior mixer experience, the ability to climb in and out of heavy equipment, and a valid driver's license. Travel to southeastern U.S. project sites and overtime/weekend work are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating soil stabilization mixers preferred.
• Knowledge of safe and productive operation of stabilization mixers (Wirtgen/CAT).
• Must be able to climb in/out of equipment unassisted.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in the southeastern U.S.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company and site policies and procedures.
• Safely and efficiently operate stabilization equipment to meet production targets.
• Perform routine inspections, safety walk-arounds, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition and log maintenance needs.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation; perform other duties as assigned.

Soil Stabilization Operator

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Soil Stabilization Mixer Operator to join our construction team in Raleigh, NC. The Mixer Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a stabilization mixer (Wirtgen 240i, 250i, or CAT RM400, RM500) for construction, moisture conditioning, lime stabilization, cement stabilization, and related tasks.

Work Environment: Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above the shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company and site-specific policies and procedures
• Safe and efficient operation of equipment to meet production targets
• Perform routine inspections, safety walk-arounds, and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation as required
• May perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of experience operating soil stabilization mixers is preferred
• Knowledge of safe and productive operation of stabilization mixers (Wirtgen or CAT).
• Must be able to climb in and out of equipment unassisted
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
• Frequently lift 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing and able to travel to other project sites throughout the southeastern U.S. as needed
• Ability to have a flexible work schedule, including working overtime and weekends as needed
