Morgan Corp. in Wilmington, NC is seeking a skilled Soil Stabilization Mixer Operator to join our construction team. You will safely operate stabilization mixers (Wirtgen 240i/250i or CAT RM400/RM500) and support lime and cement stabilization projects.

Responsibilities include meeting production targets, performing inspections and routine maintenance, completing paperwork, and traveling to project sites in the southeastern U.S. A valid driver's license and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• Two years experience operating soil stabilization mixers preferred.
• Knowledge of safe operation of stabilization mixers (Wirtgen/CAT).
• Must be able to climb in/out of equipment unassisted.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Frequently lift 20 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to travel to other project sites in the southeastern U.S.
• Flexible work schedule including overtime and weekends.

Soil Stabilization Operator

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Soil Stabilization Mixer Operator to join our construction team. The Mixer Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a stabilization mixer (Wirtgen 240i, 250i, or CAT RM400, RM500) for construction, moisture conditioning, lime stabilization, cement stabilization, and related tasks.

Work Environment

Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above the shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.

• Maintain equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns

• Knowledge of safe and productive operation of stabilization mixers (Wirtgen or CAT).
• Must be able to climb in and out of equipment unassisted
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
• Frequently lift 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing and able to travel to other project sites throughout the southeastern U.S. as needed
• Ability to have a flexible work schedule, including working overtime and weekends as needed
