Job summary

Morgan Corp. is seeking a Soil Stabilization Operator to join our Operations team in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on safe operation of stabilization mixers (Wirtgen/CAT) in outdoor construction settings, with duties including maintenance and documentation.

We value candidates with 2+ years of mixer experience, a valid driver’s license, physical endurance for field conditions, and willingness to travel across the Southeast as project work requires. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating soil stabilization mixers (2+ years preferred).
• Knowledge of safe operation of stabilization mixers (Wirtgen or CAT).
• Must be able to climb in and out of equipment unassisted.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Frequently lift 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel to Southeast project sites as needed.
• Flexible schedule including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, safety walk-arounds, and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance needs.

Soil Stabilization Operator

Department: Operations

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Soil Stabilization Mixer Operator to join our construction team in Raleigh, NC. The Mixer Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a stabilization mixer (Wirtgen 240i, 250i, or CAT RM400, RM500) for construction, moisture conditioning, lime stabilization, cement stabilization, and related tasks.

Work Environment: Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above the shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.

• Frequently lift 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing and able to travel to other project sites throughout the Southeast U.S. as needed
• Ability to have a flexible work schedule, including working overtime and weekends as needed
