Position Summary

The Senior Software Test Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of software products by designing, maintaining, and executing manual and automated tests supporting software development life cycles.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain test frameworks for software validation.
2. Plan and execute smoke tests, patch tests, release validations, and full product testing.
3. Develop comprehensive end-to-end, operational, and performance test plans.
4. Collaborate with development and other departments to align testing strategies.
5. Perform verification and validation activities, documenting results.
6. Review release documentation for accuracy.
7. Continuously improve testing processes.

Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3–5 years of experience across the full software development lifecycle.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and Postman.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Experience with version control (Git) and bug-tracking tools (Jira).
• Knowledge of test management tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with scripting, databases, build tools, and installation processes is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
