Job summary

Charles Schwab in Southlake, Texas is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to strengthen QA for critical web apps and REST APIs. You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks, lead end-to-end test planning, and help uncover defects to improve release confidence.

You will work with distributed teams, define quality standards, integrate automated tests into CI pipelines, manage test data and environments, and share practices with engineers.

Qualifications

3+ years in Quality Assurance engineering.
2+ years creating and running performance tests.
Experience with Java and Selenium for test automation.
Experience testing REST APIs and web apps.
Familiar with Karate, SOATest or Selenium.
Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket and CI pipelines.
Agile, exploratory testing and defect analysis.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
Lead end-to-end test planning and execution.

Investigate defects and assess risk to improve coverage.
