Job summary
Charles Schwab in Southlake, TX is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to strengthen enterprise applications' quality, resiliency, performance, and maintainability. You will design, develop, test, and deliver software improvements, addressing defects, debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability risks.
You will collaborate with developers, tech leads, and architects to advance engineering standards, modernization, and scalable delivery.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with Java and modern application development practices.
- Experience building scalable, distributed, cloud-based applications.
- Experience solving defects, technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability risks.
- Experience with SDLC practices, automated testing, source control, CI/CD, observability, and lifecycle management.
- Experience using AI-enabled development tools to improve software quality and developer productivity.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering teams while adapting to changing priorities.
