Charles Schwab in Austin, TX is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to strengthen the quality, reliability, and release confidence of web apps and REST APIs. You will design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, lead end-to-end test planning, and evaluate results to uncover defects, assess risk, and improve testing coverage.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance engineering.
• 2+ years of experience developing and executing performance scripts and maintaining automation frameworks for web services and database testing.
• Experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Experience testing REST APIs and web applications.
• Experience with open-source automation tools such as Karate, SOATest, or Selenium.
• Experience using GitHub or Bitbucket and integrating automated tests into continuous delivery pipelines.
• Experience with Agile development practices, exploratory testing, defect analysis, and test case management.
• Ability to perform Risk Assessment, investigate complex defects, and make informed quality decisions.
