Job summary

Qualifications

Software Setup Technician

This is an entry-level technical opportunity with a technology-focused organization supporting the setup, configuration, testing, and deployment of mobile devices. You’ll work hands-on with iOS, Android, and Windows devices, including operating systems, applications, security software, MDM tools, and inventory systems.

  • 20% Device Configuration & Deployment – Preparing, configuring, testing, and validating devices for field deployment
  • 15% Inventory & Documentation Systems – Repair records, device tracking, parts usage, and inventory management

Daily Responsibilities
  • 45% Hands-On Technical Work – Setting up, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and preparing mobile devices
  • 20% Documentation & Inventory – Recording device conditions, repair activity, parts usage, and inventory information
  • 20% Team Collaboration – Working with senior technicians, Technical Support, infrastructure teams, and other departments
  • 15% Learning & Process Support – Following established procedures, learning new technologies, and assisting with additional device-related tasks as needed
