RTX, a leading defense and aerospace company, invites applications for a Software Security Engineer I in El Segundo, CA. The role is onsite, requiring the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance (Secret).

You will join the Software Product Assurance team to design, develop, and test security-focused embedded software for deployed sensor systems. Responsibilities include implementing security principles across embedded software, using multiple languages, and ensuring

Competenze

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Experience with C / C++ and scripting languages like Python, Perl, or similar.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban or similar development environment as part of a software team
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Provide world class Security Software for deployed sensor systems.
• Implement Software Security principles for embedded software design, development, integration, and testing.
• Develop software applications using multiple programming languages on a variety of computing platforms.
• Ensure the SW Product Assurance processes are followed on our programs.
• Understand real-time software design and performance implications of System Security implementations.
• Work with cross-functional Engineering teams to define and implement TDMC based execution development and deployment requirements.
• Collaborate in a common development environment to support program ability to leverage capabilities.
