Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Software Quality Engineer for the Naval Power SBU to verify and validate design, development and integration of digital products, including embedded code, simulations and firmware.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure product and process requirements are met, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement across the development lifecycle. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least two years applying technical concepts in software development.
• Experience with software/firmware development, quality assessments, Agile or DevOps, testing, integration and monitoring.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
