REDCOM Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Software Project Manager to lead design and development of a new vertical product capability.

This hands‑on leadership role manages people and technical projects, driving software engineering efforts and serving as the primary technical lead for modular, open‑architecture capabilities aligned with required standards. You will blend software engineering expertise with strong project management and people leadership to deliver high‑impact solutions for customers

Qualifications

58+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
35+ years managing people and projects in a federal/defense contracting environment.
Strong hands-on software development with C++ and Linux.
Experience with CMOSS, CMFF, open architecture standards, and C5ISR/EW capabilities.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide Technical Leadership and oversee end-to-end design, architecture, development, integration, and testing of software components.
Navigate full systems engineering lifecycle including requirements & design reviews and milestones.
Directly manage a team of software engineers and technical contributors in a small‑company setting.
Drive capability development for rapid integration and plug‑and‑play functionality on mounted platforms.
