Job summary

REDCOM is seeking a Technical Team Lead to spearhead the design and development of a new vertical product capability in a hybrid work environment based in Victor, NY. You will lead a small team and act as the primary technical lead for delivering modular, open-architecture features aligned with CMOSS/CMFF standards.

The role requires a strong background in C++ and Linux, at least 5 years in software engineering with 2 years in people management, and eligibility for U.S. DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in people management.
• Strong hands-on software development in C++ and Linux.
• Familiarity with CMOSS/CMFF and open architecture standards is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Electrical/Computer Science or related).
• Active U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and drive end-to-end software design, architecture, development, integration, and testing.
• Directly manage a team of software engineers and contributors.
• Lead capability development for a modular open architecture compliant system and ensure rapid delivery.
