Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a dedicated Requirements Analyst to capture and document software needs, translating business requirements into clear user stories and backlog items.

You will collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure security, performance, and usability considerations are captured, while coordinating schedules and design reviews.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in similar duties and responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a management-related field.
• 2 years of equivalent working experience as a project manager, product owner, or similar position.
• Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document software requirements specifications.
• Produce and review user stories, use cases, and artifacts for requirements documentation.
• Coordinate with software architects on technical requirements for systems integrations, security, and usability.
• Maintain product backlog items and participate in design reviews and meetings.
• Produce project schedules and timelines for major deliverables.
• Participate in daily Scrum or Kanban meetings and report status to stakeholders.
• Review project quality metrics and release criteria with the team.
• Discuss defects and fixes with senior developers or architects.

Job description

• Work with requirements specifications techniques to analyze and document software requirements specifications
• Participate in requirements discovery sessions and meetings
• Produce and review user stories, use cases, and other artifacts needed for software requirements documentation
• Review and discuss project artifacts related to software requirements specifications
• Work with software architects to understand and document technical requirements specifications about systems integrations, security, performance, usability, accessibility, etc.
• Produce and maintain product backlog items
• Participate in software and solutions design processes and artifacts creation
• Participate in design review processes and meetings
• Discuss and coordinate debugging and correction of solutions or software defects with senior developers or architects
• Produce project schedules and estimated timelines for major deliverables, meetings, and project stages
• Participate in daily Scrum or daily Kanban meetings
• Produce status reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Review and discuss the project’s quality metrics and quality-related release criteria
