Job summary

Jobtailor in San Juan, PR is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to identify and deliver small to medium projects that support unit or corporate goals. You will apply formal PM methods, develop planning documents and charters, and lead project meetings to keep initiatives on track.

You will coordinate with sponsors, manage scope changes, ROI tracking, and budgets, while creating communication plans and defining team roles.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in a related field and minimum 3 years professional project management experience, including at least 2 years leading and directing project tasks; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
• Ability to work in-office 3 days per week
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm AST, Monday through Friday
• Additional hours, including weekends or holidays, may be required based on operational needs
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred
• Ability to write, read, and speak English and Spanish proficiently is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to create an effective team environment, build strong relationships, solve problems and issues in a matrix environment, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels is strongly preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred
• Experience working in a lead role on one or more projects is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement small to medium projects supporting unit or corporate goals
• Apply project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems
• Operate within defined parameters using project management methodology
