Job summary

Panasonic Connect North America is seeking a Software Implementation Engineer to plan and execute software installations, migrations, and upgrades of PanaCIM and related Panasonic applications at customer sites and remotely.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows/Linux, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Docker, plus strong problem solving, documentation, and customer-facing skills. Travel is extensive, including international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering required.
• 2–5 years of software implementation, networking, and industrial IT experience.
• Hands-on with Linux (Ubuntu), Docker, SQL, PostgreSQL, and enterprise networking.
• CompTIA A+ required; Network+ or Linux+ preferred.
• ASQ CSQE desirable.
• SMT manufacturing and MES system experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute software installations, migrations, and upgrades at customer sites and remotely.
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu), SQL, PostgreSQL, and Docker environments.
• Perform root-cause analysis of software and network issues.
• Maintain customer documentation, including diagrams and licenses.
• Create internal and customer-facing guides for configurations.
• Validate patches, fixes, and software enhancements with TAC and Development.
• Provide technical consultation on site preparation, backups, and performance.
