Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America seeks a Software Engineering Supervisor to lead a 5-8 person software team, directing daily work, ensuring quality, and aligning with project requirements across engineering, PM, field teams and customers.

You will coach engineers, develop talent, review deliverables, and promote coding standards while coordinating with project managers and operations to support design, installation, startup, and turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC Controls Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering, building automation, controls programming, systems integration, or HVAC controls experience preferred.
• Ability to lead others, work with minimal supervision, and ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a team of 5-8 Software Engineers and coordinate daily activities.
• Review, quality-check, and approve software work products and provide technical direction.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, field teams, and customers to support design, installation, startup, and turnover.
• Coach, teach, and mentor engineers, develop learning plans, and help build technical skills.
• Identify recurring issues and drive training, process improvements, or corrective actions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC Controls Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
