Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America seeks a Software Engineer II to develop and support integrated Building Management, Automation, and Energy Management Systems. You will work on HVAC controls, networking, and system integration, including commissioning and customer support.

The role involves designing and implementing building automation solutions, integrating third‑party systems via MQTT and RESTful APIs, and providing project reports and energy savings analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in HVAC Controls/ System engineering roles.
• Experience with Building systems: HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical, or Electrical.
• BMS software programming experience.
• Knowledge of BACnet and Modbus protocols.
• Experience with electronic test equipment (Volt/Amp meters, Oscilloscopes).

Responsibilities

• Provide controls data, graphics, programming for contract sequences.
• Develop software for integrated building automation or energy management systems.
• Design and implement building automation and energy management solutions.
• Integrate third‑party systems using MQTT and RESTful APIs.
• Support installation, commissioning and field troubleshooting.
