Job summary

Bosch Group is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, implement, and maintain control systems for commercial HVAC products. You will develop control software, sequences of operation, and performance tests while collaborating with multiple teams to support product development.

The role requires embedded controls/PLC programming expertise, strong troubleshooting ability, and occasional on-site support. Travel may be required to install and commission systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience; HVAC experience preferred.
• Programming experience with embedded controls or PLCs required.
• Knowledge of NEC, UL, NFPA, and ASHRAE standards preferred.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support and installations.

Responsibilities

• Develop control systems design and maintain related documents.
• Develop sequence of operation for HVAC control system.
• Develop applications using high-level software tools for prototyping or troubleshooting.
• Test applications and control methods using simulation, emulation and field testing.
• Collaborate with Product Technical Support, Manufacturing, Quality and Labs.
• Generate technical documentation for internal and vendor use.
• Conduct market research and feasibility analysis for improvements.
