Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Fall River, MA is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers developing software for autonomous maritime vehicles. You will plan, design, review, and deliver complex systems on Windows and Linux with C#, C, and C++.

You will mentor staff, drive best practices, and collaborate across disciplines to meet program goals. Security clearances may be required; travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Requires DoD clearance and US citizenship.
• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Software, Computer or Electrical Engineering with extensive related experience.
• Proven ability to lead software requirements development, testing and integration across Windows/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Software Engineering Team and manage day-to-day activities.
• Plan, design and review software for embedded and application code.
• Mentor engineers and conduct performance evaluations.
• Recruit and hire software engineers.
• Contribute to proposals and BASIS OF ESTIMATE efforts.
• Manage manpower allocation and budgets.
