Job summary

You will guide software requirements, test and integration, and CAM activities while mentoring engineers, collaborating with customers, and supporting safety certifications. Travel ~10% and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; or Graduate Degree with 7 years; or 13 years if no degree.
• 2+ years in a software leadership or project management role.
• At least 5 years of experience with C/C++ software design and development.
• Experience developing proposals with cost estimates and proposal packages.
• Experience tracking earned value and leading large software planning efforts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software architecture specification and documentation.
• Structure work to enable clear progress assessment.
• Track software team performance against milestones and KPIs.
• Provide independent validation and verification of design concepts.
• Review design activities for compliance with requirements and standards.
• Design and implement software using C/C++.
• Prepare design review materials for SRR/CDR and audits.
• Participate in flight safety certification activities.
• Estimate and track CAM labor and resources.
