L3Harris Technologies in Fall River, MA is seeking a seasoned manager to lead the Software Engineering team for autonomous maritime systems. As Mgr, Software Engineering, you will mentor engineers, direct software requirements, design reviews, and deliver complex Windows/Linux applications using C#, C, and C/C++.

Travel up to 10% and active DoD clearance or eligibility are required. US citizen status and ability to obtain a security clearance are required, and you will collaborate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software/EE with 10+ years related experience; Master’s preferred.
• Proven leadership and mentoring of software engineers.
• Strong knowledge of C#, C, C++, Windows and Linux development.
• Experience with EVMS, cost inputs for proposals, and cost accounting.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead software design and development processes from requirements to implementation.
• Drive efficient development processes and code/design reviews.
• Collaborate with other engineering managers for integrated product development.
• Establish development standards to improve productivity and performance.
• Mentor team members and oversee recruitment and performance evaluations.
