Job summary

Dash2 Group is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead and grow our software engineering and QA teams. You will drive delivery of scalable, secure software solutions, partnering with architecture and product teams for alignment with business priorities.

You will mentor engineers, shape performance, and champion modern practices including automation and AI-assisted development tools to raise quality and velocity across multiple initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8-10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3-5+ years of software engineering leadership or people management experience.
• Experience leading a software engineering team and managing delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience coaching engineers, building high-performing teams, and managing performance and career development.
• Strong technical background with experience contributing to solution design, architecture, and technical decision-making.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, modern software development practices, and enterprise software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for software solutions, partnering with architecture and product teams to ensure designs are scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers and QA professionals to build a high-performing, accountable engineering organization.
• Plan and manage engineering delivery to achieve predictable, high-quality outcomes while proactively addressing risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including automation and AI-assisted development tools, and personally use AI in your day-to-day work.
• Implement and reinforce engineering standards for code quality, testing, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate across product management, architecture, DevOps, and business stakeholders to align technical execution with business priorities.
