Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for a 12-week paid program at the Franksville, WI site. The role focuses on developing interface software for high performance, real-time controls and protective relays using .NET and C#.

You will work with a cross-functional team at Eaton’s Thomas A. Edison Technical Center, participate in planning, coding, testing, and reviews, and gain hands-on experience with device configuration and UX design in a dynamic grid technology

Qualifications

• Enrollment in CS/CE/SE with graduation date no earlier than December 2027.
• GPA 2.8 or above.
• No immigration sponsorship (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) and no relocation.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Franksville, WI.

Responsibilities

• Implement features to configure, monitor, and update power system devices using .NET/C#.
• Translate product requirements into software stories and code.
• Develop unit tests and participate in CI pipelines.
• Contribute to design and code reviews and participate in agile planning.
