Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Applications Engineering Intern in the United States. You will work with a team to develop test fixtures, document control schematics, and improve engineering productivity, gaining hands-on power distribution and control product knowledge.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience, leadership, and the possibility to relocate to multiple Eaton sites across the country. Relocation is a key part of the internship experience.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 (please don't round).

Responsibilities

• Develop test fixtures for verifying performance of Switchgear and Motor Control assemblies with lead engineers.
• Document and organize standards for control schematics and collateral used to fulfill customer requirements.
• Improve productivity of the application engineering function through testing and engineering systems implementation.
