Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Franksville, WI offers a twelve-week Embedded Software Engineering Intern role. You will work with experienced engineers to perform analyses, create designs, and develop unit tests as part of New Product Development projects, using C, C++, and Python.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team across software, hardware, and systems, contributing to reliable, efficient, safe, and sustainable solutions for utility and industrial customers.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in or will graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science with graduation no earlier than December 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration work visas for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/H-1B etc.

Responsibilities

• Work with hardware drivers and embedded applications, networking and related areas using C, C++, Python.
• Collaborate with a global multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver products and features for the Utility Iltelligent Devices team.
• Set aggressive goals, measure performance, and strive to exceed expectations.
• Communicate effectively within a global team environment.
