Job summary

Cox is seeking Software Development Interns to join our team in the United States. You will work on enterprise platforms, automation, and cloud deployments, gaining hands-on experience with modern tooling and real engineering challenges.

You’ll collaborate with mentors, learn security and reliability practices, and contribute to high-impact projects across Windows, Linux, containers, and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Currently a college student pursuing a BA/BS in computer science or related field.
• Passion for technology, reverse engineering and writing code to create solutions.
• Experience with Windows and Linux systems, containers and databases.
• Familiarity with public cloud architecture and technologies, preferably AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Document new development, procedures or test plans as needed.
• Help develop and follow best practices, security and engineering standards.
• Build tools and pipelines for continuous integration and delivery across environments.
• Automate code packaging, deployment and configuration management processes across environments.
• Solicit feedback from delivery/operations teams to optimize software throughput and quality.
• Track system and service performance and escalate as needed.
• Leverage AI tools to assist in productivity, testing, and automation.
