Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Software Engineering Leader to guide a 8–10 person Fusion Software Development team on real-time embedded C++ projects across multiple platforms.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate recruitment, design reviews, and ensure lifecycle testing meets standards. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. This is a full-time, on-site role in Fort Worth, TX.

Qualifications

• Experience with real-time, embedded C++ software development including requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit-testing, and CSCI integration testing.
• Experience with Agile development.
• Recent leadership experience (within the last year).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to adapt, teach, mentor, and guide Individual Contributors.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for world-class talent in Software Engineering Leadership to be a part of the Fusion Software Development team. We are a highly innovative, fast paced team developing software to support multiple platforms.

Manages software development activities for a team of 8-10 software engineers. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Ensures software standards are met.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with real-time, embedded C++ software development including requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit-testing, and CSCI integration testing

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.
