MFC seeks an Engineering&Technology (E&T) Manager to lead and grow a software‑engineering team, support department and directorate initiatives, and drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution. In this role you’ll join a large network of software professionals, applying cutting‑edge technologies to existing and new platforms that address challenges in aircraft flight command & control, air‑traffic control, health care, and homeland defense. Because MFC is a matrixed organization, you’ll interact with multiple programs throughout your career.
Travel may be required to customer and supplier sites, both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).

Manages the design, development, operation, and maintenance of software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products such as laboratory simulation systems, airplane flight control and display systems, avionics, mechanical and electrical systems, weapons armament, commercial and military aircraft systems, mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems, and other systems and applications of this nature. Insures the interface with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.
Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00
