Amentum seeks a Software Engineer in Virginia to support Undersea Warfare (USW) software projects for Naval Surface Warfare Center. This position entails collaborating on high-tech systems, developing code, and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Java, or Ada.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux tools.
- Active SECRET U.S. Government Clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a development team to create Fire Control Systems for USW.
- Design and maintain advanced software systems.
- Attend meetings with leadership for project status updates.
- Proactively solve problems and communicate effectively.
- Work onsite at NSWC Dahlgren.
