Job summary

Amentum is seeking experienced Software Engineers to join our Dahlgren, VA team supporting Naval projects and the Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) program. • Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Other: Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive on and off base as needed.

Amentum has provided exceptional support to our customer in Dahlgren, Virginia, for over 60 years, and we’re seeking talented Software Engineers to join our growing team! This is an on-site position in Dahlgren, VA, supporting Naval projects and programs, including the Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) weapon system.

As an integral member of Amentum's Software Center of Excellence, you will use your knowledge and skills in software development and integration to tackle complex Digital Engineering challenges, modernize Navy systems, and contribute to mission success. We are looking for professionals with experience in C, C++, Java, or Python who are enthusiastic about working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment to deliver cutting-edge solutions to the Department of the Navy.

Essential Responsibilities

Compensation Details:

US: $110,000 to $190,000
