Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a Software Engineer (Level 1) with Active TS/SCI and Polygraph to design, develop, test, and optimize complex, high-performance software in Fort Meade, MD. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle within collaborative engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable analytics.

Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, implementing algorithms, integrating databases, and documenting results while ensuring performance and security standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience integrating software solutions into various platforms and databases.
• Ability to author tests, document results, and draft software design specs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and operational requirements to derive software design specifications.
• Design, code, test, and modify software for new hardware or environments.
• Develop, optimize, and implement algorithms to meet performance targets.
• Create and execute test procedures and resolve defects.
• Design and implement complex database interfaces and data extraction routines.
• Use analytical methods to predict system behavior and performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, end users, and leads to improve workflows.
• Document technical details and recommend process improvements.
