Job summary

CyberTrend is seeking a Software Engineer I (7+ yrs exp.) in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, requiring TS/SCI with poly clearance. You will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, work individually or in teams, and contribute to system design decisions.

Candidate will analyze requirements, code, test, and document software components, ensuring performance and reliability across large data sets and real-time processing environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
7+ years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope and complexity is required.
Discretionary requirements include distributed big data tools (NoSQL, Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce).

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
Debug existing software and correct defects.
Develop or implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process.
