Job summary

Omm IT Solutions in Ft. Meade, MD seeks a Software Engineer Level 0 to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, data processing, and real-time components for government clients.

The role entails rigorous design, testing, and integration work in a security-cleared environment. The candidate will analyze requirements, debug, and contribute to system design with emphasis on software reuse, COTS/GOTS trade-offs, and documentation improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four years of SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI and Full Scope Poly Clearance Required (Expired within 18 Months is also acceptable)

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
