Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks an Applications Engineer (Level 4) to design software tools and lead enterprise applications engineering at Fort Meade, MD. This senior role requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a strong background in security tool suites.

You will lead design, implementation, and sustainment of software subsystems, coordinate testing and deployment, and guide task personnel through full life-cycle development for IC GovCloud environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Experience sustaining and monitoring enterprise security tools and databases.
• Ability to perform vulnerability and gap analyses and craft technical trade studies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, upgrade, and patch security tool suites and NISIRT systems to ensure 24/7 readiness.
• Perform vulnerability and deficiency analyses across Enterprise IT and IC GovCloud tool suites; research replacements.
• Conduct AoA and author Technical Analysis packages and ECPs for government evaluation.
• Design, code, test, and document custom software tools, web front-ends, and GUIs for data retrieval and workflows.
• Integrate, test, and enhance COTS/GOTS software for interoperability across cloud and on-prem architectures.
