Base-2 Solutions is seeking a senior software engineer in Hanover, MD to design, develop, and enhance complex software systems supporting national defense initiatives. You will work on analytics, large-scale data processing, and system design across languages and platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides input to system design including trade-offs and reuse.
