Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer II with active TS/SCI w/Poly to join our Ft. Meade team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics, real-time processing, and large data handling.

Responsibilities include design reviews, testing, defect resolution, and leading development efforts. Primary location is Annapolis Junction, MD, with clearance requirements noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; 4 additional SWE years may substitute.
• 1-2 years experience with Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog.
• 4 years IT application systems delivery experience.
• Experience configuring ServiceNow apps to meet requirements.
• Experience integrating third-party software/APIs with ServiceNow.
• Proficiency coding in scripting languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, JSON).
• 4 years of ServiceNow implementations required.
• 2 years developing on ServiceNow Platform.
• ServiceNow System Administrator or Application Developer cert required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems (analytics, real-time data, large datasets).
• Review and test software components for design adherence; document test results.
• Resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Propose software design trade-offs and reuse; evaluate COTS/GOTS options.
• Lead software development teams and oversee project portions.
