Base-2 Solutions is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and enhance complex software systems powering national defense projects. You will work across analytics, large-scale data processing, security, and AI-focused areas, contributing ideas from retrieval, distributed computing, and UI design to advance mission-critical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 4 years of software engineering experience may substitute for a degree (equivalency).
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems per requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Uses appropriate development methodologies.
• Suggests hardware/software trade-offs and reuse considerations.
