Job summary

FIS in Milwaukee is seeking a Software Engineer to design, program, and enhance fintech applications using cutting-edge technology. You will translate client requirements into robust software, work with product managers and users, and contribute to agile delivery in a cross-functional team.

The role requires a bachelor’s in computer science or related field and 5+ years of JAVA/J2EE experience, with knowledge of Struts/Spring, Hibernate, EJB, Oracle, REST APIs, Docker, Maven and Git.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or related discipline.

• Banking/Payments domain experience is valuable.

About the role:

As a Software Engineer you could work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.

About the team:

This team is an Agile scrum team with everyone expected to work as a cross functional team member to achieve the team targets per sprint each PI.

Enterprise Payments and Open Payments Framework is an added advantage Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards. Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations. Fluency in sequence diagrams, class models, etc. Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines.
